I love, love, love Indian food & Little Nepal is, without question, my number one favorite place to go. :) Corey & I have their buffet lunch so often that we have become friends with the sweet, wonderful owners, Raj & Muku. Raj really wanted us to come to this Holi Festival of Colors, but it was a little expensive for me until he gave me a couple of free tickets. After that, there was no way I could refuse... :)
And I'm so happy I didn't!
At first the girls weren't super thrilled about getting the colorful chalk all over their faces, especially Madi... After Muku saw her very half-hearted attempt, he helped her get in the Holi spirit by getting her good & colorful! :) Ha! But by the end of the night, they were just hanging out by the bowls of chalk covering each other as thoroughly as possible.
Of course, the especially delicious food was amazing, but the rest of the night was wonderful too! I really loved the aspect of experiencing a different cultural celebration, but it was also so fun to watch the bellydancing, Bollywood dancers & see Raj's sweet wife & new baby.
What an awesome, fun, colorful night!
Thank you Raj!!
