Skiing!!

I am way behind on my blog, but here's a glimpse of one of our summer highlights - our fun, fun trip to Utah.

A big highlight for me of the trip was that I went waterskiing for the first time in fourteen years!! Woo-Hoo!!

A huge, huge thank you to my awesome cousin Karen, who not only took us boating, but really encouraged me to do something for myself and get out & ski (& even took these pictures!)

Newly 40 and newly separated, this is a great time in my life for me to be reminded that I can & should still do the things that I have always loved.

It was a much bigger gift than she realized.

Thanks Karen for that & for everything else. :)
