For the last 7 years, I've always had the girls' pictures taken with their cousins every Spring. The oldest 5 all have spring birthdays, so it's made perfect sense. This year, we've had countless scheduling issues and been snowed out twice, but we finally made it in today - in the freezing rain.
The kids probably froze in their cute summery clothes, but I thought all the pictures still came out super cute.
Despite the seemingly inevitable stress of getting everyone ready and color-coordinated, I always love these annual pictures - when I get home and put them in their frames on the mantel, I look at the previous years' pictures and marvel at how much my girls have grown in the last year or two or three... It's so amazing how quickly the time passes. It feels like they are changing right before my eyes. My family gives me such a hard time for taking so many pictures, but they don't understand that I am just trying to capture all these precious little moments that seem so fleeting...
