I love Field Day!!
It always comes at the end of the year and is the most fun to see my girls out there playing with all of their classmates. I love the sun or the freezing cold (we usually get some of both), the matching t-shirts, the three-legged-race, the smell of sunscreen, the socializing with other parents, the potato sack race and the tangible excitement of another school year coming to an end.
It is so much fun!!
This year was no different, except that one of my girls was in Jr. High and doesn't even have Field Days anymore, and another one thought she was too old to participate. So that left me with Skye, and luckily she had enough fun to make up for everyone else! :)

Honorable mention goes to Madi, who, after being told by both her teacher & mother that she had to participate, managed to squeeze in a couple of half-hearted events... :)
Even if you did walk in your potato sack, I love you anyways... :)
