Summer at the Pool

I think fall might be my favorite season, but what I might miss the most about summer are our fun, fun days at the pool.

The girls & I spent a lot of time here this summer just relaxing & having so much fun!

I love everything about it - the sounds of the water running & kids squealing, the beautiful way the sunlight reflects off the water, the smells of sunscreen & food cooking on the grill, the waterslides, the cannonballs, the lounge chairs I never really get to sit in, the giant blue & white striped towels that I never have to wash or bring from home...

I never spent a single minute here without feeling so, so lucky!

It's the perfect way to spend a summer day.

More Fun at the Pool

The best way to beat our record-breaking temperatures was to hit the pool yesterday! It made that almost-100-degree day much more bearable!

Bayli liked the water, but had the most fun at most favorite pasttime - foraging for food. She found a giant clod of dirt which she promptly shoved in her mouth. Boy, was that gross!! Other than that, we all had a great day! Thanks to all of our awesome friends for keeping us company!
