I've enjoyed taking pictures of Bayli every month on the 22nd, when she officially becomes one month older. I post them and celebrate the fact that she's here, healthy & thriving and all of her exciting, new baby accomplishments. I mourn the fact that she's growing so quickly and that her baby days are so painfully fleeting. I have visions of the cute baby scrapbook I'll finally have time to make once she starts college...It's such a challenge to get a picture of her these days - she never sits still! - and this month we spent the 22nd on the plane. So I finally took some pictures of her this morning in this super cute hoodie from Baby Gap that says ADO(RED). It's so appropriate. She's so completely adored by all of us.
New Baby Accomplishments - at 8 months old, she is totally on the go - crawling like a pro, pulling herself to stand, cruising... But I am finding that it's the little things that have me so enchanted with her - her tiny fist wrapped around my finger, watching her chubby little feet kick themselves out of the covers every night so they can sleep resting on top, the way her mouth keeps moving like she's still nursing even though she's fast asleep, the expression on her face as she explores the world around her, the way she holds on to the sides of her carseat like she's kicking back in a LazyBoy, the funny little monkey face she makes... I just couldn't be more in love with my Chunky, Chunky Monkey...

Great pictures of an adorbale baby. I talked to Jo last night and she said in person she was sooo beautiful!
Oh, she's such a cute little chubby. I promise to love her even without an upper forearm crease. But she better keep her frists and cankles or I'm abducting her to make sure she's well fed : )
